Natural wood bootjack is a great energy saver! A leather insert protects the boot you are removing, and a rubber tread allows you to brace the bootjack with your other foot. There's also a rubber stop at the end to keep the bootjack from sliding while in use. The rest of the bootjack is solid wood. This also makes a terrific door prize or party grab gift! 

Bootjacks are natural wood, so the wood grain, wood finish, and appearance of small knots will vary from item to item.  The color of the suede used to line the heel cup may vary also.  These are cosmetic variations and will not affect the performance of the bootjack.  

The second and third images show how to use the bootjack.  The boot heel does not need to go all the way into the heel cup of the bootjack - just enough to hold the boot while your foot slides out.

Caution:  When using the bootjack, always be sure that you are balanced securely.  The bootjack can be used while sitting in a chair for added safety.
